You had to know the NHL wasn’t going allow itself to “waste” Bedard in Anaheim….low volume, non traditional hockey media market. I think it was rigged from the start. Never know though…. it might be a blessing…..some very good players in the top four or five picks….

I’d be open to BB’s return. Guy was great in the regular season. Game 7s not so much.

I welcome the change, but Eakins never really had a chance to be sucessful with such a thin roster. I think he’s a great developmental coach, and would do well in an AHL job.

Sandis Ozolinsh had a similar problem during his playing days. Great skills. Trouble with the liquid hooch. Bobby Ryan's performance downslide started with the Ducks under Randy Carlyle. Carlyle ended up getting canned not that long after.

No issues with GMPV's list. A couple of these could be re-signed for less $$. Not sorry to see Steel move on. He was unsuitable in a bottom six role, and wasn't going to crack the top six. Emerson Etem 2.0.... Same with Larsson.... I wouldn't mind seeing Milano signed as a UFA.

One notable thing is Verbeek is drafting larger players. They just need to get stronger and fill out.

No talent goon Parros has no business running player safety. Totally incompetent. Spurgeon engaged in an intent to injure event. Everybody saw when happened except the fools running player safety. Embarrassing to say the least.

Hard to believe I was pulling for the Kings so VGK didn't get in. Turk Gallant has to be laughing out loud profusely.

Lehner has some issues that VGK wont discuss publically. Taking a maintenance day on Game 80 or 81 makes no sense. He has some history of personal issues.
