In other words, Right Now.
Surely Dostal, Drysdale, Terry & Zegras will get qualifying offers.
The Ducks have extended qualifying offers to five of the club's restricted free agents.
- Lukas Dostal - Goaltender
- Jamie Drysdale - Defenseman
- Benoit-Olivier Groulx - Center
- Troy Terry - Right Wing
- Trevor Zegras - Center
The Ducks did not tender qualifying offers to the following six players who will become unrestricted free agents tomorrow, July 1.
- Axel Andersson - Defenseman
- Simon Benoit - Defenseman
- Max Comtois - Left Wing
- Olle Eriksson-Ek - Goaltender
- Bryce Kindopp - Right Wing
- Josiah Slavin - Left Wing

Somebody else gets it too. He wqs fleeced in the Lindholm and Rakell trades and could have easily got more for Klingberg if he tossed in one of those 3 2nd round picks. I would have easily offered up Klingberg and a 2nd if it got me an additional 1st this year.
Waiving Josh Mahura, who went on to the cup final, and picking up Leason and Megna was a joke. Then passing on Tolvanen who was clearly better then anyone on the Ducks bottom 6 was a joke, with the excuse being he is too offensive. Guess what, Ducks need offensive players.
Now probably moving Gibson for a grade C prospect and 3rd pick like Nesterenko and Henrique for not much will be even more questionable.
Hiring Cronin as coach is questionable. I fear this is Eakins 2.0. No playoff success in his coaching career.
He put a roster together last year that he literally said thought would have been competing for the playoffs. I could look at that roster and tell you they were going to be terrible. Then made a draft pick and couldnt answer any question he was asked about it.
And worse yes Terry and Zegras are RFA, but Drysdale could end up being a UFA if he doesnt receive a qualifying offer by the end today. I have heard nothing on the Ducks extending the offer and I honestly think Verbeek has no clue about this. Dont be surprised if Drysdale is a UFA tomorrow and no longer a Duck.
Verbeek was assistant GM to Yzerman in Detroit and under those two the Wings were constantly one of the worst teams. Funny how Verbeek left and they actually showed some improvement last year while the Ducks have been in a free fall since he joined them. Remember two seasons ago the Ducks got off to a good start, Murray stepped down, then Verbeek was hired and the free fall started. Coincidence?
All of our RFAs need to be signed or given a qualifying offer by 5:00 pm eastern time today or they are UFAs tomorrow. Below is the list of our RFAs per Cap Friendly.

You have an issue paying for Centre Ice to get Ducks games? I guess they could lift the blackout you are referring to, eliminate Centre Ice and then how do you watch. No Canadian cable company carries Bally Sports and never will.
Yes blackouts. I live in Tennessee near the North Carolina border and I get Center Ice. Every time Anaheim plays Nashville I am forced to watch the Nashville feed because the Anaheim feed is blacked out.
