  1. I didn't know about this, so skipping over Fantelli seems to make sense. However, the NHL needs to sanction in some way to prevent this type of BS from happening. Crybaby entitled players is what is being generated.
  2. So Ducks pass over Hobey Baker winner Fantelli to get a lower rated player?
  3. Yes a good start, but as others have said, PV also owns this debacle in many ways, and I agree. Wonder if the Samuelis have been meeting with other potential GMs? I know I would if in their shoes. Not that I would pull the trigger too fast, but if PV knew this was happening, he’d be more inclined to seek a winning situation with players and staffing over the possibility of cronyism in any future decisions.
  4. Abysmal or Embarrassing seem to be more fitting IMO. With only one game left in season against the Kings, Ducks only have 13 regular wins, making them the worst team in the league when comparing stats with CBJ. This IMO is akin to having a crappy blue line core that have proven to be soft as butter and allows their opponents to build campfires in their goalie’s crease. I surmise that 13 RW stat remains the same after the next game too. Watching a Ducks game feels like watching a female incidental contact game. No disrespect to the lady hockey players out there. In fact heck, they hit harder than the Ducks. Guess we’ll see what the draft and summer brings.
  5. So dumb to do so..... The GM is responsible for the $hitty players and coaching staff.
  6. A minus -122. WTF? Most disgusting stat ever. LOL Wake da hell up Ducks org and do something. This team sucks beyond belief. If the same GM and coaching staff are still here for next season, insanity resides in the ownership.
  7. As a season seat holder from 1993-2010, there's one thing that sticks in my head from the 2007 successful season. I had the fortunate experience of having a drink with Brian Burke in the JD club that year, and he relayed he told his players, "If you're not gonna hit when given the opportunity within the rules, then you can pack your bags and will be heading out of sunny California soon. There's no place on my team for pu$$ies." That year teams knew they were in for some punishment when they played the Ducks. This team acts like a bunch of scared wimps on the physical side. There is no leadership on the ice, off the ice, nor on the bench (by a joke of a coach). This is why I say dump the GM and the coaching staff. Add to that any player who's a wimp and afraid to hit their opponent like Fowler. Watching the game tonight against the Blackhawks (the worst team in the west) validates my point. There were endless opportunities to finish a hit that didn't happen that resulted in a hawk's player staying on his feet to keep a play alive when it was preventable.
  8. Team has zero leadership on the ice, off the ice, on the bench, and in the locker room. As we all know the coaching staff is a complete joke, but personnel changes are needed from a competent GM to garner seasoned players who can lead the young talent. I don't see this happening anytime soon, and it appears the owners are just using team as a tax right off.
  9. I was a SSH from 1993-2010, and I wouldn't pay a nickel to attend and watch a Ducks game now with this coaching and GM. Sad what this team has become.
