Clearly, the Eakins coaching can't stay anymore. This club can't afford to enter a "Buffalo-loosing-mentality" with players like Zegras, McTavish and Terry. It will probably end up like the Eichel-story.... The players need some fresh coaching-spirits/mentality and not a coach that every evening says "unluck bounce....if we just just had burried it earlier...bla bla bla"....same old story. Bah!

Ducks are easily the worst team in the NHL. Easily. It's just embarrasing to watch them play. Sad, sad, sad! -20 after 8 games. Is this a record? End of this season they would probably reach -200....and that must be a record, right? Sharks and Arizona probably have double the speed on the ice compared to the Ducks, can't believe how slow they are. So, Pat is after the 1st pick next summer

The leadership is non existent. Period. Fowler looks to be heading home just as soon as the other team scores.

OMG! I have watched all the games so far and it it looks horrible. This team doens't play NHL hockey by standards, maybe not even College hockey level (!?). Looks like the team has already given up this season. When you look at Fowler and Gibson, you can see they don't bother. It's like "Whatever...". - The offensive play-system is non-existent. It has never existed during Dallas Eakins period in Anaheim. - The defensive system looks worse than during spring...and is also non-existent. I would say it has never worked during Dallas Eakins period. - Power Play looks much worse than last year. More like the 20/21 season. - Speed ....this must must be the slowest team by far in the league! To sum it all up: please Mr Eakins, let someone who has knowledge of coaching in the NHL, coach this team to success!

The article says alot of where the team is now and where they are going. The PP statistics of this season says it all of this teams offensive play. Its bad. Really bad. And having watched the last game I continue to be amazed of how often the defenders get trapped in their own zone. Amazingly bad plays. So, for the future of this team, I expect at least we see a new coaching staff before next season and if everything goes well, a new GM aswell. And for Getzlaf, I honestly dont think he will bring anything to the team anymore. He has been an incredible player and Captain for this team during a long time, and I loved watching him play, but time has caught up with him. It is time to move on for both parts. We do not want this team to be the next level of loosing-mentality-Buffalo team. No thank you. Thats it. Looking forward to a fresh! start next season where we start developing the players in offensive and defensive plays. After having watched almost every game this season, I would say the coaching staff isn't developing the young guys at NHL level. They are getting worse. Period. This team will become a loosing mentality club like Buffalo for a long period if something isn't changed during the summer break. Looking at the PowerPlay, the statistics says it all. Dead last and it really looks like they don't have any, not any idea of what to do. They play better 5-5, thats for sure. This team needs new coaches, a few new fresh strong players that can go to the net. Thats a start. 🤔

After the AVS game...got some rest. Looses 4-2 against Coyotes. Come on. Do we have to wait another 8-10 games of loosing until something happens??

Can we please see a change in the organisation...something has to be done. The way they played the last game against Avalanche was just....just...sad. You can't win games in this league if you don't skate. Period. 😞

Everybody knows bringin in Volkov is not the solution to Ducks problems.......why is BM just draging it all out? 😞

Remember, not every draft player will become McDavid. Thats why GM should trade. Not belive in draft. Now, without yesrs of good trades its too late. This team will suffer for years to come. For sure.

OMG. Tonights performance showed the Ducks where they are in this league: bad defence and very very bad offensive play. Well, the good thing is we are now closer to a drop of BM and Eakins.

Well, I wouldn't be very surprised if this nightmare continues and we see both Gibson and Zegras asking for trades. Don't think they want to see their future go down in nothing the next 5 years. Please fire Murray and Eakins. Please.

This is just sad... I didn't want to write this, I waited and waited. Hoping for a change. The other day when they played against Sharks, before the game I really hoped they would loose the game. By 6 or 7-0. Gooosh, I should have placed a bet. Reason for my wish is that it is the only way it will come a change. Thats the only reason we will see Eakins or Murray leave their posts. Its sad to say, but thats just the way it is. Now, after having seen the game against Avalanche, loosing 8-4 I was just sad. Pure sadness. It looked like the Ducks players had given up in the start of the 2nd period. No work ethic at all. The "defence coach" of this team is a joke, pure joke. Thats something we could see already last year. And I believed they could have fixed this during the long break. But no. So, please Murray and Eakins. Step away from your posts, for the fans and for the future of this hockey club. This is embarrasing. Ps. In Sweden, people say: "Well, if there is one team I don't want to see playing on TV, it is the Ducks. They are even worse than Buffalo Sabres to look at."
