Klingberg

A telling statistic reminding us that bad coaching, not having any sort of system or plan has a corresponding effect on the result - +3...

But, the coaching staff is "still being evaluated".

I now return to the alternate universe this is happening in...

yep! It is just one game and +/- isn't the best stat....but....im not gonna be surprised if we can add Klingberg to the long list of ex-defenders who excel much more on their new team once leaving the Ducks... 🫠

It was also a learning season for Klingberg. Now he is taking those lessons he learned and using them effectively. 😁

The best +/- Lindholm had in the Eakins era +/- 0. This year he's +41. It might not be the best stat but it's pretty telling.

Minnesota Wild

John Klingberg has an upper-body injury and will not play against the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday (5 p.m. ET; BSN, BSWI, NBCSCH, ESPN+, SN NOW).

The defenseman will miss his second straight game after sitting out a 5-4 shootout loss at the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.

"He's just getting looked at today," coach Dean Evason said. "He was here this morning, was involved in the meetings. We had everybody here at the meetings. He'll get evaluated. He will not play tomorrow but we'll get a better idea here today."

What a waste of money for everyone that turned out to be.
