  1. Very sad. Prayers for his family and friends during this difficult time. God bless them.
  2. Members 1.4k Posted just now I wouldn't mind seeing the Ducks sign Blake Wheeler. He's 6'5", 220 pounds, and was the Jet's captain from 2016-22. He also had 55 points this past season, in only 72 games, including 16 goals. So, he's still productive. I think we can use a power forward like him, with all the youngster's on the team, especially if we want to compete with heavier teams like Vegas. And who knows-Ducks might consider making him captain a few seasons. I'm guessing Selanne, a former Jet, would love the signing. Another player I think we can use is Max Domi. I know others have mentioned him before too. Now if we can add both Wheeler AND Domi, that would help our team tremendously, IMO.
  3. Oops. I see there's already a page for free agents. My bad. Feel free to delete, if you're a moderator. Thanks.

If this isn't the right page to post this, feel free to transfer to a different page if you're a moderator. Thanks!
  5. Knowing all that, do you think the Ducks will be better off in the long run, and in the playoffs, that they will likely be drafting Adam Fantilli and won't get the opportunity to draft Connor Bedard?
  6. After listening to the game plan the new coach has, seems like a great hire. We'll see if the team does well. Hopefully so.
  7. Well, maybe the GM is trying to go for the number 1 overall pick next year since he barely missed out this year? LOL. JK.
  8. I hear what y'all saying. I just don't know too many head coach candidates who've won 2 Stanley Cups, the latest in the last 9 years, and won a Jack Adam's award in the past few years. But wouldn't surprise me if Ducks hire somebody else. Guessing y'all are right, that Ducks won't hire Sutter. We shall see.
  9. That's true. But it could be the culture we live in today where some people don't want accountability. The teams that have the most success have accountability, whether the players like it or not. It's kind of like when some players leave the Patriots in the NFL and complain how strict of a coach Belichick was, but who never have the same success on any other team they play for again. Life shouldn't be a party for those in the NHL. Just my opinion. Thanks for sharing yours.
  10. Do people know that Darryl Sutter won the Jack Adams award in 2022? https://nhl.nbcsports.com/2022/06/02/flames-darryl-sutter-wins-2022-jack-adams-award/
  11. Howdy, Ducks fans. Been a little while since I last posted here. Hope all has been well with you all. Anyways, how would you all feel about Ducks hiring Darryl Sutter as it's next head coach? I know some might say his coaching is too old school. But Flames won 50 games last year with him as their head coach (1st in Pacific Division.) And I was always a fan with how well coached the Kings were when Sutter was their head coach. He obviously helped them win Cups in 2012 and 2014. I think the Ducks should at least consider hiring him. I know he previously was an advisor to the Duck's coaching staff. At the very least, Ducks players would work hard every shift, finish every check, and probably make the playoffs. Anybody else want to see him considered? We shall see if he is.
  12. Ovechkin chase for Gretzky's NHL goal-scoring record feeling real
  13. So true. Think he'll eventually get the record, barring injury. We shall see.
