Ducks Priority is to sign Steve Stamkos it would be beneficial to the Flock and imho Beeker needs to make it Priority asap.

whatever. the reality is that Cam's will only potentially agree to do what Hank did, in the last year of an expiring contract, and only if a decent team wants him at half off.
Just Curious IF it comes down to this which Playoff Contender Cam has in mind IF Ducks do fall short again which Goodness Forbid I hope not.

2. They need a few guys who are leaders. Who can drag them into the fight. Who can snap them out of a mental funk. Who can set a tone game in and game out. Who they can lean on. That takes attitude, experience, courage, focus, and the ability to talk the talk and walk the walk.
I have sense and feeling Ducks will be looking at Signing a Leader to shore up the Roster and be a Leader to our Ducks Young Core.

I guess if you wanted simply to add a RH shot in the top 6 - which he has stated he wants to do. But has he stated he wants to do that at the expense of giving up an almost identically producing top 6 C/LW/RW who is two years younger to do that? Fill one hole and create another?
I think GMPV wants to add, and to try to do that by subtracting nothing, or as little as possible. Which would point to FA over a trade.
If he traded Zegras it would have to be an obvious win. Necas + ain't it.
I have a feeling Ducks GMPV is going to be aggressive this offseason...He knows he cannot afford to have a threepeat of the mistakes made in previous two seasons.

Gotta admit that Beeker will be working hard to get Players Ducks need to rejuvenate our team.......Stamkos is my first choice for the Ducks to sign at July 1st....But I expect him to make some Trades IF the right price is available.

it’s pretty clear he’s getting pushed so hard to be a leader for this team. Maybe contradicts the idea that management doesn’t want him. article has an interesting tone, but I stand by that it’s clear the ducks should not trade him. He’s a vital piece to this team.
I agree too.....imho I feel Z-man is not only Vital part of Ducks Renewal/Revival going forward...Trading him would be a BIG Mistake.

Wonder if Pat has had his chat with ownership, he probably has to explain why this season went off the rails. The teams love affair with penalties didnt help, injuries didnt help, special teams being atrocious didnt help. Everyday that passes that Newell Brown (and Trent too but he's not getting fired after one season) is still here is a mistake. Its so frustrating that we would have the worst special teams in the league and the Ducks go, "yeah, but maybe they'll get better?".
I just wish this organization held itself to a higher standard.
Ducks Should have High Standard...which is Gold...Think of 2007 Stanley Cup Championship Team...That is standard they should Strive for with Right Mix.

Well If you all want to know comparison between the Ducks Final Standings Stats here is a glimpse.
1.Standings Record 23-24:27-50-5 59pts 22-23: 23-47-12 58pts
2.Power Play 22-23:31st 23-24:25th
3.Penalty Kill 22-23:31st 23-24:31st
4.Facoff Wins 22-23: 27th 23=24:29th.
Lets be honest......Alot of work needs to be done.

Why?
