Exactly....He blows more smoke and the amazing part is upper management and ownership buy it? Henry Samueli is super smart in his field but not to strong on common sense. Common sense isn't common.
Bob is twisting the reality to suit his desired perception (Are the fans really gullible???). The reality is the Ducks wont do much in the FA market because the market will reject the Ducks. With all the choices the FA players have, why would you go to a team that is still 2-3 years from competing? Nobody with a brain would unless its a straight over payment (which Bob is an expert in). In addition the reason we have not had success in trading is Bob over valued players paid them to much and now is unable to trade them for reasonable value. Please tell me we are collectively smarter than Bob!
He is slow on his first three steps. He cant get out of his way. If you dont know that you have not watched him play enough. a defender that losses his first three steps to a talented forward is an instant liability,.
Most of the expansion draft selections are leaked
Seattle will pick Haydn Fleury (D) *** always subject to last minute change

Ron Francis drafted him originally. No shock, but disappointing loss.
Of those names to me Jones has the most upside. At least he plays with heart, is young and drive the nets. I wouldn't give you a bag of pucks for Rico & Silf,
Agree with everything you said except Mahura. His first three steps is so slow he is a liability. Might be a combination of reaction time and or first 3 steps but he get skated around far to often imho
Not sure if we could get him because of same Div but for the right price could be a good add. Has a high motor and could be a good second liner. I also think he was used poorly in AZ this last season. I live in AZ and watched a ton of games. He has more to offer then what AZ get get out of him.
Why would anyone pay top dollar for a guy with a herniated disk in his neck, Give me Sam Reinhart for a 1/3 the price
p.s. Bring on Barkov love him Just researched this. Barkov has a NTC with contract ending 2021. He wouldn't want to come to a rebuild. He will want a Stanley Cup before his career is over and it wouldn't be with the Ducks in our time frame.
I agree with most of what you have said except, Just because someone is an excellent scout doesnt assure they can negotiate trades and contracts (approval of the asst GMs plans) or carry the business aspects of the GM Role (See Murray, Bob)
