  1. Well.....I've seen a lot of people leave this board over the last few years. Add me to the list. You know-it-alls and you know who you are...can talk to yourselves all season again. Laters! Go Ducks.
  2. lol it's not about protecting him from the hit, it's knowing you have to answer for it afterwards....shouldn't have to explain that actually.
  3. but...you didn't answer my question. Who's our enforcer? I actually don't know if we brought someone in. I hope the answer isn't Carrick because if it is we could have a lot of guys get hit like Z did tonight all year long.
  4. lol, that would be no....just watching your comments lol
  5. Honestly...not that he would have prevented this but....this is why I didn't want to see Deslaurier leave. Who is going to be protecting guys like Z, Terry, Drys?
  6. Yea I've always felt it was salary cap related with our Ducks suppression of youth over the years.
  7. thanks gang for the info!
  8. screw Vegas, don't help them in any way, shape or form.
  9. Terry, great kid, humble and well spoken.
  10. you're right he wanted to stay in Anaheim. Sometimes you have to take off the "home-er" glasses. The 28-year-old defenseman met with Boston reporters for the first time Sunday in a Zoom video call. He explained why signing a lengthy extension with the Bruins was the right decision for him. "For me, that was a tough decision, Lindholm said. "It's not easy to extend your career that long in a place you haven't lived. But for me, I go on a (gut) feeling, and the team itself is a great team and they always have -- Boston as a city and a team always has that winning mindset. They find ways to get in the mix. "That's somewhere I always want to be. I love playing in the playoffs. I've missed it the last few years (in Anaheim). He spoke at length about his emotions upon joining his new team. “I felt good. I love that feeling,” Lindholm said. “A little butterflies, a little nervous getting out there. That’s why you play the game. The fans here are unbelievable. I have to say thank you to them for supporting the whole game. It was so loud out there. It makes it more fun to play.
  11. Just look at the roster of Boston. If you're Hamp....where would you want to be playing? The man didn't want to be in Anaheim anymore. Can you blame him? We can point the finger at BM, Eakins, Beek but the finger should be pointed at ownership. Quit trying to save a buck all the time and maybe we wouldn't be where we are now. Think Robert Kraft vs. Alex Spanos. Ownership means everything.
  12. Hey just saw Cogs joining Manson. Looks like I'll be rooting for the Avs this post season.....
  13. Well given we are now in re-build mode....really surprised they didn't move Gibson too.
  14. Well he's not wrong. Teams like Boston, Pittsburgh seem to always stay relevant. I've always believed a good owner makes or breaks a franchise. Think Robert Kraft vs. Alex Spanos.
  15. I feel this team needs a bit of a facelift. After years of BM we should be willing to give Verbeek his shot at molding this team.
  16. yes but the closer we get to the deadline the lesser you are likely to get eventually falling to zero the day after. If Lindholm is going....the deal should have already been made.
