    Don't think Sustr has anything to do with Shatt but......watching Shatt last night I can't wait for the day he is gone. I know he added some punch to our O early on but he is an absolute defensive nightmare turnover machine.

    Yea after last night's game looks like we are going to be sellers at the trade deadline. I will hate to see Hamp go as it feels like he'll be leaving right when he's set to be playing his best hockey. Time will tell I suppose. I won't miss Rakell. Seems like the boys haven't reacted well to our GM hiring thus far. Love Getz, his number will be in the rafters one day but he has been a terrible turnover machine of late. Re-build stage 2 incoming?

    I agree, congrats to TT. So glad we didn't give up on him way too soon and trade him. Kind of off topic....why 10 votes every 24 hours?? Why isn't ONE vote per person good enough for anyone anymore???

    So much fun watching this team play right now. So many players playing well and with enthusiasm. I'm going to give a shout out to guy who does a lot of little things and he's been a career AHL'er....Sam Carrick....well done.

    well, not the way I thought BM would leave the organization. I just have a hard time believing the Samueli's never knew about this. Assuming they had known about it....why wasn't BM let go a long time ago????

    Ahh yes the times we had a few big stiff overpaid defenseman Allen-Souray-Stoner. Good times. Agree that Hakanpaa for the right price would have been nice to bring back.

    It's well known I am no BM fan and have criticized him constantly for trying to make a team led by Getzy and Perry to a "faster" team. It's led us to where we are today, a disaster. He should have been fired for what he did to the team. But if we're stuck with him....at least he's off this crazy notion of speed, speed, speed at any cost. I like the McTavish pick a lot now.

    Anybody catch this? Couple big things I took away from it was that Bob doesn't appeared to be interested in free agency much and all but said we will be making a trade of some sort. Secondly and most importantly....Bob realizes we have to get back to our old identity. That was music to my ears!!! Get some heart and pride back!

    I agree with you but...we fans like to see retribution if one of our younger guys is being abused. ND serves that roll and like we've said he's not totally useless beyond that.

    I see why teams would want ND, low salary, better than average skillz for an enforcer. You need guys like him to protect your young skill guys, like Zegras for example. Protectable? Not sure I get that but we have so many players on our roster that are expendable....why not?
