It's been debated on various threads whether the Ducks are better, worse or the same compared to last year. Here's food for thought. A little hypothetical.
If we got beat every game we played last year by three goals, we'd finish the season 0-82.
If we got beat every game we played THIS year by one goal, we'd finish the season 0-82.
In the above scenario, as far as win/loss record goes we'd have NO improvement between the seasons. But it's obvious that losing all the games by one goal instead of three IS a significant improvement. The question is then, are the Ducks a better team this season despite not moving up much in the standings?

Looks like Ritchie got an eight-game suspension. Sad to see his downfall after being a 10th overall pick.

I've noticed this season at the Honda Center, when they post on the Jumbotron the fastest player speeds during the game, that Max Jones is almost always at the top of the list. I've always been surprised by that.
