    Just read Jack Eichel has a NMC that kicks in July 1. The Ducks have a desperate need for a #1C, and cap space is opening up. Thoughts on Eichel and a potential trade package to get him. I'm assuming the only untouchables are Zegras and Drysdale and maybe Gibson. The trade would negate the NMC, so that's not an issue.

    Come on. Getzlaf will do the Teemu thing. He'll evaluate everything during the off season and make a decision about returning or not.

    I guess the question I would ask is with Perry in the lineup, who would you have sit? And at 8+M per season, and already at the cap, how else would we have been affected with him still on the roster?

    Damn it Murray. You could have traded Rakell and Manson, for a 2nd or a 3rd. DO SOMETHING. Just make a deal. We don't care the return. 🙄

    Depending on any other moves the Ducks may make, couldn't the Ducks trade Getz to Vegas for a second and retain his entire salary? I'm just spitballing here, maybe there's a rule that a team can retain 50% max.

    If you read my post, I said I "assume"..... My post was written BEFORE the Honda Center announced their policy for in arena fans. I'm quite aware that's not the policy going forward.

    You asserted teams hold players out of games and claim an injury. That's where people are questioning you. Palmieri was held out of games, and the reason given was speculation of a pending trade. Same with Hall. I may be wrong, but I don't recall players being held out for an injury and then simultaneously traded.

    If you're going to quote me, do it correctly. I never said "wrong again." There is a huge difference between a NMC and a modified (see your list) NTC. And YOU said NMC in your original post, there was no mention of NTC. My point was there is only 1 player that has one (that has any impact on our cap). I know Kesler also has one, but it doesn't really affect us salary wise since the $ amount becomes available via LTIR.

    ONE player has a NMC and that is Getzlaf.

    I bought 3 for the last game against the Kings. There were also 3 available for the 18th but we decided to pass. Pods of 3 were available, you just have to really search for them. Ours are in section 218 I believe for the Kings game. The game on the 18th the 3 person pod was in 215.

    It's an assumption. Other venues have listed their protocols, and all indicate a negative test is sufficient too. I'm assuming Honda Center will allow the same.
