Carlsson is projected to be another Zegras. So a team who needs that creative winger gets him. We need that center who plays a heavy game and skates well. The only thing Getzlaf needed was better wheels and he would’ve been even more legendary.

I feel like Fantilli will be better because of his size. He’ll be a leader. He’ll be able to jump in and throw hands when Zegras or Terry start getting punk’d. I can see a guy like that wearing the C

THREE DAYS until we (potentially) confirm Bedard is coming to Anaheim. Monday can’t come fast enough

1. Bedard will be our captain. 2. One or more of the Ducks will be in the league’s top 10 of scoring 3. We will see a considerable growth in talent and size 4. The blue line will be noticeably better. Nothing to brag about, but no longer an embarrassment. 5. I will be buying 1 new away jersey and 1 new home jersey due to the new jersey’s they will (assumingly) have. 6. We’ll trade Gibson at the trade deadline if we’re not in a clear playoff position 7. Whoever our coach is will win the Jack Adams award for taking the team out of the NHL’s basement. 8. We’ll have the scariest team core since the Oiler’s + Gretzky 9. The Bandwagon will be LOADED due to the Bedard signing 10. I will be happy.

I have an anti-conspiracy theory that the NHL wants to see a team TRYING to win and anyone obviously tanking will ruin their chances. Buttman wants Bedard on a winning team…. Preferably with Zegras (the new face of the league).

Since January, this has been an above .500 team. Verbeek was right about them needing until December/January to find their place. So, for Dallas Eakins, I just wanna say…

WAIT WAIT WAIT IF we draft Bedard… does Beeker really wanna have McTavish or Bedard as a 3rd line center? How do we juggle that?!

Bedard is only 5’10” 185 lbs. This team needs size and skill. Something tells me Bedard isn’t our 1st choice

I was at the game last night. Yes, Klinberg is even worse in person. Drop passes to nowhere and makes poor decisions when to jump into plays. Henrique makes very soft plays, doesn’t pay much attention. Terry is not a passer. Zegras and McTavish are developing a strong chemistry. Our entire defensive core is a joke. but I’ve been saying that for years. When people were trying to blame Gibson, it’s the defense.

Is anyone still watching? Or has the big hurt already broken you? FUBAR?

Just had a thought while driving my wife to the airport at 5am… this team is in a hard rebuild. It’s going to be hard for everybody. But, they have to start with scorched earth. Contenders get to fill roles if a star player is lost. They know what to look for to keep their identity’s strong. This team is starting from zero. But it would be amazing in 5, 10 years if we get to hear announcers say, “he’s a Mason McTavish type player” when describing rookies. That’s the highest compliment, to me. So, yeah… this season is going to hurt. But when the wins start rolling in, it’s because Beeker is taking the time NOW to create an identity. And that’s hard to do from nothing.

Why is everyone hating on Eakins? The man is our golden ticket to 1OA. We’re 1 Connor Bedard away from having Zegras, McTavish, and Bedard down the middle and a power play that has Zegras, Terry, Bedard, McTavish, and Zellweger.

I’ll give you that. Seeing Kunitz win cups in PIT was awesome. Seeing Freddy get traded to a good team was cool. Seeing Cogs raise the cup was a very proud and happy moment.

What are my chances of getting a player’s stick after a game? That sounds so cool. for people who have gotten one before, how did you do it?

I loved Beaudreau with this team….. in the regular season. But if he couldn’t get Getzlaf & Kesler to find an extra gear in the playoffs, I don’t see Zegras & McTavish taking us to the promise land (….. YET)

How much more of this do we take until Beeker cuts the cord? 😩😩😩
