    Great point made at the bottom. Why rush a signing when Beeker is probably weighing his options. We’re not opening our window to the cup this year. Why sign with haste? I like the patience.

    Imagine this guy on a line with Terry and McTavish for when the coyotes wanna get piddley about us “skilling it up.” dude. I hate playing against him, but I think he’s the new Perry. Great in the locker room and on your team, hated on the ice if you’re the opponent. That’s the classic Ducks MO right there.

    HARD pass. We need professionals in the locker room showing our young guns how to do things right, not be the antithesis of nutrition and fitness.

    On what other moves are planned Well, I'd like to add another forward and we're exploring probably adding another defenseman. So there's two players that we're probably looking to get and making sure that they're a good fit for our team. I love having a GM who gives straightforward answers. And I trust him. He says he wanted size and he drafted size. I believe in this man 🙂

    D Man, for sure. McTavish is locking up his place as our 1C this year. Zegras has the hands and talent but you just can’t reach size and leadership.

    Don’t know why so many people think we have good players. If we’re not in the playoffs as strong contenders, EVERYONE can go. If it makes the team better, nobody is safe.

    The problem with the Ducks is they have tunnel vision. They don’t see how successful teams approach growth and the only way to get these big name players is to push the pace of the rebuild. Look at the Kings. Stockpiled draft picks and a deep prospect pool to use as blue chip pieces in trades. They’re closer to being a competitive playoff team which makes them more appealing to big names. Hopefully, having a sober GM clears the tunnel vision and takes a big steps, potentially leaps, forward this summer.

    Not gonna read all 44 pages, and I know nothing about skill, but I want that defenseman who is 6’7” (LAMOUREUX, MAVERIC). He can always learn to skate and shoot, but damn. I miss having a bulky beast on the blue line. Especially one that can layout beatdowns for our young guns.

    Towes. Eichel. Tavares. Crosby. All “too young” but were deemed significant to their franchise’s youth movement. Who fits that for us? Z or Terry.

    There can only be one, and once Getzlaf decides to hang ‘em up, we’re gonna need a new one. Is our future captain currently on our roster? Who do you think it should be? Zegras? Terry? TBD?
