Marchessault would be ideal.   Hurt Vegas + help us.    It would take a major overpay but might be worth it as we start our ascent back up the pacific.

He won’t be there when it matters though, right? Gonna score 20 goals to maybe bring us into contention. We need younger proven pure goal scorers who can still pop years from now when it’s really needed

Then there shouldn't be any talk about trading Marner. Yet here it is.

They’re not going to trade Matthews or Nylander.. he’s definitely the odd man out.

I'm sure Celebrini would have picked Chicago if he had a choice. Play with Bedard. Honestly, SJ isn't a terrible home. Cool place to live, and he gets to be "the guy" which can be cool. I mean, he'd be "the guy" almsot anywhere, but in SJ he really gets to be it. Even in Anaheim with Leo, MacT, and Z he's competiing to be the guy. I dunno. I don't knwo what im saying. Im just happy it aint Chicago haha

I somewhat agree, but you’d have to think that he would enjoy coming to Anaheim.. We have a ton of young talented guys near or around his age that would only elevate his game right off the bat and visa versa. Build a bunch of chemistry and go on a run after he signs his big boy deal.

I believe Lindstrom would need to go on waivers again to go to the Gulls. Hellesin showed well in the few games he played last year and even scored a goal so yes he is worth a shot.

The Gulls aren’t good by any stretch , but Helleson has an abysmal 1G 5A -4 30GP. Could just be a product of a poorly coached  team or he’s under utilized, but yea.

which is also like...not uncommon...it's pretty common for 18-year-old rookies who play a full season to lose a lot of steam at the end. In that same context I'm curious to see how Minty and JLC do with their first full season and if we see them take some steps back as the season goes on.

Tampa Bay did this sort of thing with Stamkos out of the gate and look how that turned out, pretty positive results.. kid had a big night tonight in Boston, and has consistently shown that he is the real deal. Whatever is happening seems to be working so far!

Forums are places where we, the fans can have our opinions.  I don't think being told to "shut up" is appropriate.  Even for you - you got to have your opinion.  I have mine.  It's not the end of the world.

The board always slides into r/Anaheimducks Reddit theme during the sunrise of the season.

Well....you sound very positive, maybe they'll indeed won't be afraid "to gang you up or mix it up along the boards". But so far, I see what I see: in the last pre-season game Ducks lineup was close to what we expect to see in the opening night, yet they still lost to another NHL doormat 7:1.

You are a work of art 1993.. Apparently living in an Era of change and the passing of torches doesn’t suit you…. You call Arizona a “doormat” team , you constantly talk crap about Gibson as though he’s not the only/best goalie we have to Ice each game … You hate Pat Verbeek, you don’t like Cronin, you’re not a fan of going through growing pains……. Is there anything you like? Don’t you understand that we have to build things?

Aside from the contracts being annoying, this hour glass posts are quickly becoming annoying too and make zero sense. Give it up. You're a master of magic? Do a trick and make the hour glass posts disappear.

Been a while since you’ve had anything positive to say. Guess we will flip the hour glass for you too. Lighten up.

Getzlaf probably had another year left in him but wanted nothing to do with the low quality roster that was being built. Either way you look at it, Verbbek still made the comment of expecting to be .500 or better despite losing a significant amount of skilled players and never replacing them.

You’re out of your Gourde, Yanni .

Off all the potential shortcomings a prospect can have, which do you think is most “correctable”?  Skating?  Shot?  Decision making?  Other?

I’d probably go with skating and shot as most “correctable”. You can physically put the time in on the ice to constantly improve those 2 aspects , as opposed to the whole mental side of things. Vision and IQ fall more into the “intangibles” category imo.

It’s not merch, those jerseys get auctioned off to relevant charities. So it’s much worse than that, the NHL is actively preventing good charities from being able to receive donations. Like 5 dudes didn’t wear the jersey last year. They can get over it, typical Bettman taking the fall for the terrible ownership group that probably wanted this more than any player

Friedman said that the special jerseys will still be made and sold per usual, just not worn during the warmups. Charities and other organizations will still get proceeds from the sales of these as well .

    You can speak for me.

It says a lot when you're the ONLY player in the entire league who refuses to get vaccinated.

Whatever BS excuses he had were lame and pathetic then and they're lame and pathetic now.  FREEDUMB just means you're a selfish prick, who couldn't care less about others.

No one cares about this anymore.
