    Wish we could have pulled Debrusk or Kapanen out of the hat with both of those transactions. Our roster looks a lot thinner than it already was, but that last road trip kind of told the Beek everything he needed to know. Excited for the future though, not gonna lie .

    Amirov was just recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, so I doubt we would even ask. As for Robertson, I’d be in on that if they were willing. A 2nd rounder next year , and Robertson sounds great, but unlikely. I’d even take Holl as well.

    No way that Lindholm won’t be re-signed after Manson leaving. Jarnkroks deal is similar to what Rakell would fetch, or close to it ?

    This must mean that we’re going 6+ years with Lindholm, or we are swapping him for someone who’s an NHL player already on D. Don’t ya think ? Or maybe Rakell brings us back some sort of defense ?

    I’ve been all in on Strome since he was mentioned on these boards. I’d give a 2nd EASILY for the guy and he’s only 25. Strome makes Steel look like a pee-wee player.

    Shattenkirk couldn’t hold the blue line if you drew one on his palm. Sustr is a good depth signing imo. Big body who can make a decent first pass in our D-Zone.

    Petry picked up by Dallas for a 2023 2nd and Stankoven. He’s one hell of a defenseman who’s having a down year on a dumpster fire of a team in Montreal. I would have kicked the tires on him if I was Verbeek.

    Love this hire. In his interview he seemed to have a vision and a strong will to eliminate the weak links.

    Looks like the job is his for sure. I guess the other 2 candidates were AGM Botterill in Seattle and the AGM for the Rangers Ryan Martin.

    First in the pacific yes, but everyone else seems to have 2-3 games in hand on us atm. This season so far has been refreshing to say the least.I’ll be pretty happy with whatever the outcome this season.

    Was just listening to the new spittin chiclets podcast today. Ryan Whitney was talking about Bob Murray and how mean and vindictive he was to certain people. The hockey gods fired him for us. Hoping this doesn’t effect the good hockey we’ve been playing this year.

    That rumoured deal was exactly that, a rumour. If it was true and they passed on that , then they are even dumber then we all thought.

    After all this Jack Eichel drama, that is the package Buffalo got?!😂 The Calgary package must have been hear-say I guess. There’s no way the Sabres said no to Tkachuk plus everything else. I feel bad for Tuch, the guy has been nails for the Knights .

    We all know that he’s a master at holding on to things until they expire. I was in the trade for Eichel camp since the beginning , but with the teams play so far , I’ve happily slipped out in the middle of the night to the other camp.

    If we do move on from Gibson, I’m confident that Stolarz can hold down the starting job until Dostal is ready. Albeit he hasn’t played a ton of games In his career , he’s still posted no lower than a .920 SV% in 2 seasons with us , and we suck. No one shows him any love . He’s solid .

    Kids a good hockey player , had some strong games last year at the end of the season. Why would we even risk waivers with him? Head scratcher for sure. Apparently if you show any type of offensive output you’re going to get sent down.

    According to him , Buffalo ruined his ankle surgery and the follow up rehab. I like seeing the league and others being held accountable. This league has been notorious when it comes to transparency. Good on him .

    It’s definitely worth the small subscription price . It also feeds his Twitter posts there as well, for those of you who don’t dabble in the Twitter world .
