    Just stop. We all knew this season would be rough. No one will take on the contracts, we’re stuck with what we have . Murray is losing it though.

    The Flyers are healthy scratching Konecny tonight. Must be nice to sit one of your best 3 players and still expect the win. Apparently his 5v5 play has been bad. Our team is a looooooonnng way from legitimacy.

    Rather go the John Chayka route huh? I’m not a Rutherford guy, but it’s not like hiring a head coach . Every situation is different when a GM gets to re-tool or blow up a roster. Anything at this point is better than Murray.

    Gibby the third star of the week. Stopping 95 of 99 shots in 3 games. 2-0-1 , 1.33 GAA, .960 SV%, and 1 shutout.

    I’d start with Shattenkirk-Getlzlaf-Milano-Grant-Lindholm. Fowler doesn’t get it done for me even though he moves the puck well. Milano is very fast and gets to the dirty areas like Grant does. If we play behind the net with Getz on the half wall looking for passing lanes with our two defenders trailing high, it gives us more options. I hate seeing Getz in an umbrella formation passing to Fowler . Getz should be at the dots looking for options, and I think Grant and Milano could be those guys

    What scares everybody about Grant playing on PP1? Our PP has been infamously bad, and people are questioning why we are shuffling it up? Go for it. Maybe Grant scores 15 this year

    Guessing he didn’t work out? I haven’t seen any updates on his status anywhere. Hutton is by no means a stud, but I’d light a fire under Larsson with some competition . The kid seems to be on BM’s golden boy list for some reason.

    Hate to be a wet blanket, but whoever said that we are anywhere close to a playoff team is smoking crack. As for Vezina, you don’t win those unless your team and record stand out to the masses and media (popularity contest). We all know Gibson is Elite , but the team around him isn’t. Is there a link to the article ? 1. Vegas 2. Colorado 3. St. Louis 4. Minnesota 5. San Jose 6. Arizona 7. Anaheim 8. Kings.

    With the season 3 days away it is a bummer that the Ducks, unlike many other teams haven’t posted or streamed anything content worthy about their camp. Other teams have posted/streamed full scrimmages and highlight packages to go along with it. I’ve noticed over the past seasons that we have a minuscule amount of behind the scenes segments and player interviews . Does this make anyone else somewhat disappointed?

    I agree for the most part. was looking forward to seeing if he would take the next step this season with more ice time. Don’t get me started on Larsson lol

    This is the perfect time to nab someone like him. The guy is only 22 and has proven he can score goals and be a #1 C . You would rather wait for McDavid on the off chance the oilers aren’t noticeably better in the long run? Sounds like a cop out to me . if it takes Zegras, don’t do it. If you can part with Drysdale and steel (or rakell) at the least, why on earth wouldn’t you? What are you scared of ?

    That’s pretty cool. Kind of a bummer that the AHL season starts in early February though. Would be nice to watch the kids and our ducks squad at the same time

    His celebration against Russia was hands down embarrassing, but the kid is by far the MVP of the tournament so far. Are you not a fan of Ovi in his rookie season doing the same thing? Yes he was in the big show scoring goals on NHL goalies , but cmon.... don’t be too harsh to judge the kid on something that has no effect on his game or the team around him.

    It’s amazing tbh. In 9 games total in the WJC he has 22 points . Historically he has pretty much put up the best numbers in amount of games played . Haven’t been on a hype train for anybody since Mcjesus. Let’s hop it translates.
