Zegras has leverage in the sense that the Ducks can’t score and he’s one of the only players that can produce offense. He’s 22 also. If he turns into a perennial 70+ player then that’s rare for this team to have. I don’t like the odds of them replaced by him. It’s not about scaring him off, it’s about him not playing, the Ducks still being bad, he potentially wanting out and then the cycle repeats.
