the closer we get to the deadline and the more trades I see happening...the less I think we move on of our big trade chips like Manson or Rakell....Heinen maybe...Carrick maybe...Hutton or Hakanpaa maybe...Backes...unlikely...maaaaaaaybe Grant....could see FrecnhyD

Bob may have over estimated / misjudged the market

  3. I hope I am wrong but Bungling Bob may have played hardball to a point where all the suitors made cheaper deals with other teams.  Boston filled their needs and they were the main name that came up over and over.  Toronto seems to have filled their needs.

The only remaining big name is Carolina and possibly Winnipeg. I have heard with enough cap and need..  Hope he doesnt muck this trade deadline up but its not looking good

haha well, I think I defend Bob more often than not and more often than most on here....Wild Bill is actually one of the ones I don't defend him on lol i don't 'cause at the time it seemed like an obvious mistake. I remember that very well. If it turned out great then I would back down and say I was wrong...like if Wiz scored an OT winner in Game 7 of the WCF or something...instead of....not playing a game in the playoffs lol but i'll defend bob on things like Theo, NTCs, etc...more so than most. I also wont defend him on the hiring of these coaches. And why the assistants at least are still hired....if it all turns out well and Eakins with these assistants gets us a cup...I'd HAPPILY admit I was wrong. Or if they even get us to be competitive in the playoffs.

I also wont defend him on not taking Kaliyev...but the jury is still out...and I'd happily be wrong!

    Thank you Mrs Murray.

ONE player has a NMC and that is Getzlaf.  WRONG AGAIN!

    NO-TRADE CLAUSES

    • David Backes (15-team trade list)

    • Cam Fowler (4-team trade list)

    • Adam Henrique (10-team no-trade list)

    • Josh Manson (12-team no-trade list)

    • Kevin Shattenkirk (12-team no-trade list)

    • Jakob Silfverberg (12-team no-trade list)

    NO-MOVEMENT CLAUSES

    • Ryan Getzlaf

    • Ryan Kesler

For the purpose of a trade deadline and a dying team a NMC and a NTC have the same effect.  Harder to trade obviously

true true...although Bob has said he doesn't care about right or left...

Wait wait wait......  Bungling Bob do something stupid???  Look up "stupid" in the dictionary and you will find his picture.....Hey Vodka Bob, offer to much $ and some more NMC to insignificant players.....That is why the Ducks are rubbing the top of the cap with one of the teams with the most losses.

  7. I believe this is to fill a future hole that will come when a larger trade is made.  This isn't about a grand slam trade, its about having enough skaters....But there is a possibility he might get the wake up he needs in his career - decent numbers in the minors.

It was super interesting to see Teemu talk about Getz in that podcast someone posted. Teemu said something along the lines of feeling bad for him right now and that he doesn't seem to have the passion Teemu was used to seeing Getz have. So, I mean, that's just Teemu observing things...but...yeah...I feel the same as Teemu. It's sad to see how unpassionate Getz seems to be right now.

Would love to hear that podcast.  Could someone post that link please

  9. You know Getz must be in agony playing with this team in this situation.  Especially in the final year of his contract.

I think bumbling Bob should ask him to consider a trade (give him a choice to go out on a winning team)  The Ducks have been good to him and allowing the Ducks to trade him for Premium assets this year, would help the Ducks and give him a chance to win.  Then if he would want to re-sign in the off season (why would he with this nightmare) The Ducks work something out.

This has to be painful for him.  The Ducks need every asset to try and turn this nightmare around.  This make to much sense for all involved

Evidently you work for the Samueli family in one form or fashion. Yes, they are incurably successful and generous in the community. All I say I do not believe they care for success of the Duck team because if they had the same motivation, we would not have this conversation.

What a shallow fool?  No really?  No actually I can 1.  Search for information    2. Copy    3. paste.  You need to get a job or a hobby.  Wasted post

The Ownership has their mask on their eyes not on their mouth. secondly they are VERRY successful on their PC business the ducks is a tax write-off IMO.

Henry Samueli is a cofounder of chipmaker Broadcom. He resigned as chief technology officer in December 2018 after 27 years.

Samueli cofounded Broadcom with Henry Nicholas in 1991. It was acquired by Avago Technology in 2016 for $37 billion and is now called Broadcom Inc.  His personal wealth estimated North of 6 Billion.  Very generous family though.   The ducks are a piece of a separate business and I am sure he is financially insulated.  That's what Tax Attorneys are for.

  12. Vodka Bob has ownership buffaloed.  I wont spend a $ until this once great team fires a horrible GM and a Coaching staff in way over their heads.

Ducks have become the laughing stock of the NHL.  Bob fiddled while Anaheim burned with bad contracts, bad trades and missed opportunities.  Im guessing Mr Samueli didn't handle personnel issues in his successful businesses.  Where the hell is CEO Michael Schulman?   Time to clean house and and hold people accountable.  This is just a sad situation with no confidence in ownership and management.   I will say that the Samueli's have done a lot of good for the community for a very long time, which is appreciated but are the Ducks a business or a hobby?  Clean house or spend your $ on something else.  Im done until there is a legit commitment to change.
