  1. Good. Let him be part of another President's Trophy team that loses in the 1st Round.
  2. What would make this off-season complete, is if Verbeek signs Anti-Vaxxer Bertuzzi to a long term deal.
  3. Free Agency starts tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to seeing who the Ducks pick up in a couple of weeks, after all the dust has cleared.
  4. All I can think is that we went into the Lottery with the best chance at the #1 pick, and ended up with the guy projected to be the #3 pick.
  5. I don't get why Fantilli would rather play for Columbus than us. It's not like their team is any better than ours, or has more upside. And the Franchise hasn't accomplished anything during their existence. Anaheim has played in several Conference Finals, and a couple of Cup Finals.
  6. Don't worry, given their history, I'm sure if Verbeek's picks don't work out, Ownership will find a way to let him go in around 7 years.
  7. Tankin' only works when you're a big market team like Chicago.
  8. With Michkov, you might have to wait until 2025 or 2026 to draw those people out of their seats.
  9. Wouldn't Fantilli rather play in sunny Southern California, than Columbus, Ohio?
  10. Thanks to a bunch of NHL A-Holes, teams won't be able to wear Special Jerseys during Warmups any longer. We've seen the last of the Ducks Camouflage Jerseys. https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/goldenknights/nhl-will-no-longer-wear-specialty-jerseys-during-warmups-2798448/?fbclid=IwAR3_aQJ9Z6zrnLNy_Ip3czjUMS12gc1BCDT18Vibuf2LmaaVjJ3vHsXPbMI
  11. Well, there were no real surprises in the Lottery, because let's face it, the #1 was always destined to go to Chicago. So there probably won't be any surprises in the Draft itself either. Fantilli is the safest #2 pick, followed by Carlsson to Columbus and then Michkov to San Jose. BTW, F&*K the Blackhawks.
  12. There hasn't been a Canadian team that's won the Stanley Cup since Anaheim joined the league. Think about that. Year after Year after Year after Year after.......teams like Toronto & Montreal sell out every single game, yet not a single time have either one of them, nor any other team from Canada, hoisted the Cup.
  13. On the other hand, it probably is a slap in the face to the Kings organization and their fans, since the club pretty much discarded him without fanfare, and now he's got his name on the Cup for a 3rd time, but this time it's for another team.
  14. It's up to the team who gets their name on the Cup. George Parros didn't play a single minute in the Playoffs, if I recall correctly, but the Ducks put his name on the Cup. Then he returned the favor by F&*king over Cogliano.
  15. Boston's #1 seed already lost in hockey, and their #2 seed in basketball is about to go down too. The streak in basketball of no team having come back from 3-0 in the playoffs will continue.
  16. Reminds me of a couple of Game 7's from the last 10 years at Honda Center.
  17. Perhaps if the Franchise had made it past the Quarterfinals more than Once in 27 seasons (8 Round 1 Losses,) people would come out to support them. We're not talking about Canada here, where they live and breathe hockey.
  18. In the end, it doesn't matter. As they say, Scoreboard. And yet again the Ducks were screwed, and are one of a handful of teams never to get the #1 pick. We'll move forward with Fantilli or Carlsson, and watch Bedard, like we watch Crosby, and wonder about what could have been, had we had Chicago's luck.
  19. He was always going to Chicago. He was never going to a secondary market like Anaheim, Columbus, San Jose or Arizona.
  20. It boggles the mind, doesn't it?
  21. I’m so old, I still remember when she was Dawn Davidson.
  22. This! The Ducks always wait until all of the prime UFA's have been selected, and then on the 2nd or 3rd day of free agency, they'll pick from whomever is remaining.
  23. Since he left us in 2016, Freddie's gone 205-99 with Toronto & Carolina. Over that same period, Gibson is 143-158 here in Anaheim.
