SeatGeek is worth a look. If you can wait closer to game-time, prices drop as people try to get something, rather than nothing for their tickets. The app has a venue arena map and you can surf the prices for the different sections. You do better mid week, and against an opponent that doesn't have a following fan base (Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas) or teams close by (San Jose, LA). If you sit in the lower bowl, you will have a better view from higher up the section. The first few rows are good view, but only for the area of ice you are closest too. The glass can obscure the view. Personally, I like being higher up in the corners (e.g., 218, 204)
