No long elaborations, fancy words, directly to the business. P. Verbeek probably did not learned much within his tenure of 14 years under the wings of S. Yzerman or he already forgot. Whatever he demonstrates or demonstrated with Zegras, Terry and Drysdale for example, may have long term effect on the development of these young players. Verbeek is a master procrastinator in picking market leftovers - Strom, Vatrano, Klingberg from last year - Harrington, Stalock, Kassian this year, instead of trying out his own talented players decorated with all kind of awards even from lower junior/youth level of hockey. "You got it, or you don't"! I don't know much about Cronin or Mcilvane Anaheim and Gulls new coaches, but Verbeek is not IMO a solution to the Anaheim organization, Verbeek is a continuation of Anaheim's problem.
