    Ya people say they hate their job/boss all the time, it doesn’t mean they say it to their face. Nor does it mean they are actually going to quit. They’re just venting to another coworker who probably feels the same way, but that worker was Karen/Darren and started talking at the water cooler, and things snowballed.

    Still FA. To the point of Ottawa going after Taresenko, I’ve seen that too, but that also doesn’t make sense. If they had money to sign VT, they could make something work for Debrincat. Aquiring AD would expedite our rebuild by a year. If some of the younger D take the step and Leo makes the roster, we could compete. But if we can’t get AD, then Leo going back to SHL and the young D season a bit more in the A, is necessary. Are we considering Drysdale in the trade? Seems like a lot here have soured in him, being a ‘tween er’. He would be a roster players, and a good prospects all things considered. But he is a RD which we are lacking. Just kind of seems we need to include one of these top flight 4-5 D kids we have. Like Tommer always says, we can’t ice all of them, we may as well use one of them to bring in someone like AD. I think any kind of ‘heartache’ we experience from losing one of those guys is going to be repaid in full by getting a pure goal scorer in AD. He will make us forget.

    I was wondering about this. Why have the camp so early with respect the FA. Guess Beek is done Beeking around? You would think he would still be working the phones.

    Ya maybe part of the package to get Nylander is to rid them of Murray. Retaining salary helps. It helps them and us. I could see needing to throw in Pits 3rd to sweeten it.

    I’m guessing the contract is NTC but if he wants out, or wants to get paid with term, beggars can’t be choosers. An up and coming team with lots of younger guys should be incentivizing. Plus we have beaches!

    Are we on the list or is that speculation? I would imagine if our name is being thrown out there, then there is talks. If we weren’t in the list then I would imagine Ottawa would say sorry and there would be no rumors?

    Domi was 3 and Bertuzzi was 5.5 And they want to dump Nylander. ROR did not resign with them. Just like someone said about the Kings, maybe Toronto in the same boat, Adin Hill

    What about Chicago. They have been aggressive too, like they are trying to make a better team now. Idk who their goalie is. Detroit could be a good spot, they are exiting their rebuild soon too I think. Maybe about the same place as the Ducks.…..Kings need better goaltending too…..They signed Cam Talbot….That is not helping them. They would have been better off bringing Quick back. They have Copley but common…They should pursue Hellebuyck. I hear Vegas like to collect goalies. Wasn’t Columbus young guy a bust? If Philly moves Hart, who do they have? If he really wants out, fine, send him to Arizona. I think there are lots of options he could go to. A few teams don’t really have much or much of anything. He could be an upgrade to lots of teams.

    Ya. He went from 41 to 27 goals in that time span. He was also a -31! So I would say he did not do Ottawa any favors in the trade department. They are going to lose capital all said and done. They will be lucky to get a 1st back. I could see Lundy + Boston's 2nd and Lacombe? ( we have a bunch of LD prospects. We aren’t better with Lacombe. They want roster players with some value, there you go. And we don’t give up any blue chips.
