  1. He never had a NHL contract with the Ducks. Cant play on the main roster without one and I believe the Ducks had the max allowable contracts. Still only has a minor league contract.
  2. The Sharks weren't much better that year, 11-71-2.
  3. The thing that jumps out at me in those highlites, besides the blue dasher boards, are the REAL board ads.
  4. Pasternak doesn't kick in until next season. Bertuzzi is a UFA and is not necessarily going back to Boston. And they placed 3 players on LTIR today including Taylor Hall. They actually still have 2.8 mil of space going into tomorrow.
  5. I'd love to see the Yotes actually have to put one of their players on LTIR now. They have used up all the spots they have available.
  6. LOL, rumor right now is Klingberg to Islanders. They don't have a 1st this year to give back and I don't see any actual prospects that would help either. Will probably get Zach Parise in return or some garbage like that.
  7. It's a 2024 draft pick, so not this year.
  8. Ducks traded Thrun to Sharks for a 3rd round pick.
  9. Klingberg would be the center piece of any trade, the package would be built around him. Still waiting for what you would expect Klingberg, Kulikov, Grant, Comtois, and Henrique to fetch value wise in trades. Or just avoiding it?
  10. I would love to see Verbeek pair one of those 2nds with Klingberg to get a 1st in return or a 2nd with a top prospect.
  11. Exactly as it was also a cap dump for this season. Two 2nds and a third more likely to be bottom six players or AHL players. Especially as they will be late 2nds. Should have been two 1sts, 3rd, better prospect, and Moore. Rakell should have got a 1st as well or two seconds vs the garbage that the Ducks got there (Aston-Reese and Simon).
  12. As he is injured again, and has showed next to nothing when playing, I would not be shocked if Vaaks is not brought back after next season.
  13. May have put it on Verbeek but it was still Verbeek that traded them for next to nothing. Lindholm should have netted two 1sts, not two 2nds and a better prospect then Vaakanainen, who the Bruins were more then willing to trade due to the injury history. Verbeek was taking on both the Rakell and Lindholm deals.
  14. Likely because we have a GM that doesnt know exactly what he is doing. A huge return like that or Meier got should have been what the Ducks got last year for Lindholm. Everyone knew he was a stud defenseman. A 1st rd pick and Vaakanainen was kind of a major let down. Especially knowing what Lindholm could be in the right system and the proof of it this year.
  15. Klingberg straight up for a pick was never going to happen. From the moment he signed his contract the trade was going to be 50% retention, adds value with the retention. Oilers maybe intersted. Depends on if they money works. Maybe Carolina. I would say Colorado but they got their depth d today.
  16. You also have your list of things that are wrong with the team but instead of enlightening us it's just "I'll share at the end of the season", in other words you have nothing right now. Why not share that now? There is no magic turnaround coming.
  17. Instead of disagreeing and playing a wait and see approach (scared of looking wrong or way off on your evaluations) how about you let us know what you think each one of those guys is going to bring back, instead of the wait and see approach.
  18. I dont know what you disagree with on Klingberg. You arent clear. That the Ducks will get a 2nd for him and you are saying the Ducks want a 1st, or if the Ducks trade him and a second they might get a 1st? Simple, nobody is giving a straight 1st for him with his performance this year and a 2nd could even be pushing it. Or are you one of those that overvalues the players on your team and think most of these guys will fetch a first or 2nd.
  19. 1. Klingberg - 2nd rd pick or 3rd a b prospect. If Ducks package a 2nd, might get a late 1st. 2. Kulikov - 3rd rd pick at best, likely 4th 3. Grant - 5th or 6th rd pick, no value but depth player 4. Comtois - will not get traded, if he does 3rd rd pick 5. Henrique - will not get traded. Will be an acquisition at next year's deadline
  20. Trades I can see, Klingberg for a 2nd, Kulikov for 4th or b prospect, Grant for 6th rd pick. I'm hoping with the extra multiple 2nd round picks the Ducks can package a 2nd with Klingerg 50% retained for a 1st. The biggest assets the Ducks have for bigger returns are Henrique and Gibson. Terry's name has been floated around a bit. I guess that all goea to how negotiations are going. Any of those 3 would provide a nice return.
  21. None of theseguys getting traded were coming to the Ducks. Ducks will only be sending guys out and they will get better returns from desperate teams after the big names are off the board.
  22. Why? Dostal is showing no better then Gibson with 3 or more goals against in every game he has played this year and 13 against in his last two starts.
  23. PS Moose - Give up the confused faces on every single post. It's what helps make you annoying.
  24. You're going to get number one, how good of prospects and high of picks depends on who gets traded. You will not see #2 at all. Ducks have no reason to acquire any of the available players and do not have or are willing to give up the necessary assets for them.
  25. The d is just using the season as a learning season though.
