    We'll probably never know what went down but there's two parties to sign a contract. If BM is upset that Henrique wouldn't waive his NMC he shouldn't have put one in the contract. if Henrique refused he's just exercising his rights. If that's BM's reaction he's an even bigger doofus than I thought. It's stuff like that poisons relationships with players. I was always against a full blown rebuild but I don't see any other way. But BM and Eakins still have to go.

    I'd love to see Getzlaf stay a Duck for life but if he wants out I'm all for it. He's earned it. He has done so much for this franchise and he deserves much more than this. I'm pretty confident that if he's given wingers who can put the puck in the net he's still a difference maker. I'd also love to see Getzlaf beast mode in The Playoffs again. Unfortunately it won't be in Anaheim unless Zegras turns out to be the next coming of McJesus. Meanwhile I still want Murray and Eakins fired.

    Putting our scoring leader from last season on waivers isn´t exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks BM for another bonehead move.

    An empty arena woud be a strong signal that the fans are fed up but all arenas are empty 🤨 We´ll just have to wait it out and hope BM makes a move after the expansion draft. Let´s hope Gibson doesn´t lose his patience and that this team starts playing a whole lot better. Preferably get some results along the way.

    Is there any way to voice our concern over the direction our team is going in? Can somebody put up a banner or something at Honda Center to call for BM´s and DE´s jobs? This team is going nowhere. Bob Murray is doing a horrible job. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. He calls out the players while his coach choices have been questionable to say the least. Eakins is in over his head. This team is playing bad hockey plain and simple. If not for our excellent goalies we´d give the wings a run for their money. The problem now is we can´t show our frustration during the games so it seems we don´t care. But I´ve had it with Murray and Eakins.

    Let's trade our most dynamic forward (who's snake bitten that's for sure) for a third liner who doesn't exactly light it up and an unproven forward. If he's that good why don't you keep him?

    We won't trade him but if he wants out that's that. Should it come to that BM should be run out of town, perhaps even the country.

    He wants to be in Anaheim 😄 No it sure is weird. At least give it a chance. Columbus has been fairly competitive while seeing their best players go (Bobrovsky, Panarin). I think it's a decent team to play for. But should he want to be somewhere else I guess that's that.

    I have never played hockey so this may seem like a dumb question but to what extent can you cope with a guy not playing defense? Say you have Laine out there with 2 defensively responsible forwards, is it doable? Because he is one dimensional but like you say, we desperately need some goals. Having said that I also think it's more likely CBJ lets Torts walk after this season and they'll try to keep Laine.

    A Laine who would put in the effort would make this team so much better. Especially when Zegras makes the jump and adapts well. We would have 2 great set up guys and a genuine scorer. If Comtois can keep scoring we'd finally see some more goals. It might even take the pressure of Rakell. I want a Laine but it has to be the good version.

    Given the circumstances ADA might be a bargain. We all know how much GMBM likes his bargains and reclamation projects. Color me unsurprised if he ends up in Anaheim. We can only hope that should it happen, the rangers add a sweetener or retain a chunk of money). I don't think even BM would be that crazy to make a straight up trade for him.

    Don't want to be too hard on the kid but Gibson and Miller are tied with Terry, a forward who has played 9 games.

    Ours is awful. The Rangers' one is pretty bad too IMO. Even the guy who's wearing it is bumming hard. The Las Vegas jersey is also pretty atrocious.

    Balls. I agree that signing Dadonov would be great. I'm not sold on Hoffman because I don't really know what went on in ottawa. He can put it in the back of the net that's for sure and that's what we need. If it's a short term deal I wouldn't be opposed to it. I think BM is gonna take the wait and see approach. Lots of names on the roster and a lot of young guys who may have taken a step. I think it's worth finding out what we have in Mahura & Lundestrom to name a few. If BM feels the same way he'll do nothing. Crazy that Pietrangelo ended up in Vegas. It won't make them easier to play against.

    I gotta admit I haven't been following hockey that closely for a while but didn't the blue jackets buy out Wennberg? I'd love BM to take a gamble on him. What is there to lose?

    Well the preds and the flames (blind hatred) and to a lesser extent the leafs (more dislike) are all out so all is good in the world again. I'm pulling for the Avs and the stars (never thought I'd say that) because of Perry & Cogs.

    True. Now we know it's the rangers so that is that. But how about toronto? In 2019 they lost to Boston. No shame in that. 2018 same story. Now Columbus in a different format but the result is the same. They can't be pleased. I don't know their cap situation next season but regardless of that perhaps they should be looking into shaking things up.

    Do you really think any team would trade the #1 overall? Even if it's edmonton or toronto.If Lafraniere is as good as people say he is why not keep him for 3 years? Sure edmonton has McDavid and Draisaitl and toronto has Matthews and Tavares but they'd be have sick depth down the middle. I hope it's Florida or Minnesota. Those teams need him the most.

    Florida needs it the most. If it's toronto or edmonton there's a big trade coming in 3 years. If it's nashville I'm gonna cry my eyes out.

    I know but they also have Bergeron, Pastrnak, McAvoy and now Kase. So many things to like but I agree on Marchand. That side of his game is ugly.

    This is the kind of stuf that should get people banned. Not ever under any circumstances should one want the preds to win The Cup Seriously though, no preds, no flames and just because it's funny no leafs. I have a soft spot for the Avs and y'all gonna hate this the Bruins But with The Ducks' best interests in mind I'd rather have them go out early this year.
