Not a fan of Michkov, and I have had the (Justin Schultze) concern with Fantilli myself. But I'm still hoping the Ducks select Fantilli.

All day today on NHL Radio nearly every talking head is speculating that the Ducks will not pick Fantilli. Personally I think it is wishful thinking because they want him to go to whatever team they route for. If the Ducks has gotten the number one pick these same talking head would be talking up Fantilli and how he is a perfect fit for the Ducks. It would again be wishful thinking. In both cased they secretly believe the Ducks don't deserve such a high pick. I really hope the Ducks pick Fantilli 1) because he will be the best player available, and 2 ) I want all those talking head to look like morons. Oh and they were all having kittens over the fact that one of the voters for the Hart trophy did a protest vote and ranked McJesus 5th . Never heard so many pearl necklace clutchers in my life.

I hope PV picks Fantilli. Ducks have been lacking size and Ducks already have Zegras to be the playmaker.

Just watched Fantilli interviewed on TSN during their Mock Draft. Fantilli mentioned how he grew up a Boston fan. When asked how he thought spending time with Anaheim during meet up s went he kept saying in an almost monotone voice how nice the guys were (Zegras and whoever else was there). There was no smile on his face as he spoke. I got the distinct impression that Fantilli is not very excited about going to Anaheim. I have not really read up on him but does Fantilli still have a year or more left in college? If so I pray he doesn't end up being another Justin Schultze.

Hard for Florida to make a comeback when Tkachuck , Bennett and Gudas all take 10 minute misconduct penalties in the last 5 minutes. Goon it up instead of trying to tie the game.

VGK had 2 penalties in the first period. Game 7 vs Oilers only had oone the entire game and it wasn't even a full pk.

Listening to the Dallas/Seattle game I can tell the Ducks aren't the only team with a terrible anthem singer. I really miss Dawn Wright. Go Kraken!!

I'm resigned to the idea that a team like Detroit, Chicago, Montreal, or Philly is going to will top pick. NHL has more interest in seeing those teams return to playoff contenders. yeah, I think the whole thing is rigged.

As a Corey Perry Fan and a Tampa fan I am saddened by those two overtime loses. I know the NHL's wet dream is to have the Oilers and Leafs meet in the Cup finals. I Don't want either team to make it. One of those teams wins the Cup and all we will hear for the next ten years is how that Cup team is the greatest that ever was. If McDavid wins the Cup he will be anointed GOAT of the NHL. Forget about Gretzky, Lemieux , Howe, and all the other players who played in a league where they weren't protected by the refs. Yes Gretzky was also protected but at least he didn't talk tough and then skate behind the refs. Hoping that Vegas, or Seattle make it out of the West at this point. After last night's loss I don't think the Kings have what it takes to win three straight.

If you look at Eakin's NHL coaching career between the Oilers and the Ducks I would say his combined results are clear evidence that he is not suited to coaching at the NHL level at this point. Better for him to return to the AHL level where he has had more success. AHL does not have the same pressure of trying to get a team to the playoffs and the Stanley Cup. As far as who the Ducks should hire I do not have a clear picture of which coaches are unemployed and if ANY of them can organize this team into a competitive team. I suspect the team will look much different when Training camp comes around. I'm hoping that Verbeek can put together a decent roster.

Well over the past week this has been one of the more entertaining Trade Deadline years in quite a while.

Looks like no takers for Klingberg Too bad. He was hoping to get moved today. Yeah there is about 35 minutes to go but there aren't even rumors of a trade. His production this season is probably a factor.

Can the Ducks trade Eakin? LOL.. maybe for a 5th rounder?

I thought Klingberg's agreement with Anaheim was that they would trade him as a rental. Last thing the Ducks need is to start winning games. So dumb him AND Shatty.
