  1. I think outside of Miyatovic, I’m pretty happy. Lots of upside in Port, Dionicio, Pitre and Sidorov. Carlsson is going to be amazing. Smith is huge and who knows. Goalies are weird, but Clara is relatively highly regarded and it’s always nice to have them in the system.
  2. Honestly outside of the first pick in the second. I think I really like this draft.
  3. Dinocio was ranked #90 he is all flash and offensive talent, limited skating ability, but apparently moved to wing late in the season and outplayed Shane Wright semi regularly
  4. Konnor Smith wasn’t ranked, but they talked about how defensively responsible he is and that while the huge low event defensemen is a common archetype, Smith displays a lot of good defensive habits and isn’t always looking to make a big hit and put himself out of position. He shows flashes of puck moving skills, but struggles under forechecking pressure
  5. Carey Terrance #128. Very fast, high work ethic. Scored 30 on a terrible Erie team, he played in all situations and was Erie’s best player. Struggled to maintain offensive zone time and tried to solo offense too much which could be explained by his team being bad, I like this pick.
  6. Yegor Sidorov #114.ep described him as the most improved player in the WHL, 40 goals and 76 pts in 53 games, lots of nhl habits, he’s an ankle breaker, potent shot, elusive and creative. His knock is he’s overly patient sometimes and takes too many low danger shots.
  7. Nico Myatovic ranked #112. Good size and motor. And a sneaky good wrister, he’s been responsible defensively and can be dangerous on the rush. Struggles to create for himself though. Sounds like a slightly less offensive Gaucher
  8. Damien Clara, huge goalie who skates well. One of if not the first Italian born player to be drafted into the nhl? Always nice to have goalies in the system. Ranked #83
  9. Coulson Pitre was ranked 53 by EP. They describe him as a high motor, wrecking ball with offensive upside. He had some of the highest even strength points per minute, only lower than Musty and Barlow. Offensive skills are raw, if he competes, he’s fast and physical.
  10. I’ll try and dig through EP and others for more detailed info once it’s easier to track all the ducks picks
  11. Low upside bottom six winger with the first pick in the second round is truly baffling
  12. 2026 pick, I can see why Anaheim would not want to do that.
  13. I thought it would be multiple episodes, as a stand alone product it’s pretty disappointing and missing a lot of relevant Duck’s history.
  14. Pretty shocking to be honest. I’m not really an overly positive person, but jeez, we just got one of the best prospects drafted in the last few years not named Bedard. Not who I wanted, but to think Carlsson isn’t going to be good is insane. New coach, maybe a couple of decent additions, it’s not hard to see a decent improvement next season.
  15. Watch any amount of Carlsson play and it’s really hard not to see a player any GM would love. He’s just so good at everything. He’s not as flashy, but man he just dictates play so well. And he’s doing all of this is probably the second best league against men.
  16. Pretty surprising. Interested to see how Verbeek fills the hole. They probably need at least 1, probably 2 defensemen. Soucy and Graves sound like they’re headed to FA, but both those guys are the best available FA so I worry about a bidding war. I’m so tired of watching career AHLer’s play significant time on this team.
